Goal Statement
I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies to formalize 35 years of applied learning into a recognized credential. My career has covered every domain in this program’s curriculum (management, marketing, technology, finance, operations, communications) but without the degree that verifies it on paper.
The degree matters now because I’m building AI companies. Investors, partners, and hiring managers pattern-match on credentials. A BS from Purdue Global, backed by a portfolio that demonstrates exactly how each course outcome was met in practice, closes that gap.
Long term, the BS is a stepping stone to an MBA or a graduate program in AI/ML, where the combination of academic foundation and three decades of production experience will be distinctive. I also want to be visible proof that it’s never too late. If my story can show others what’s possible through Purdue Global’s Prior Learning program, that matters as much as the credential itself.
